I’m a brand strategist and designer with more than a decade of experience. Most of that time, I spent building Stuurmen Branding Agency from the ground up with my co-founder. I shaped the work, the culture, and the direction. I led a team of high-standard creatives who cared as much about meaning as about making, and was hands-on in every project from positioning to execution. While Stuurmen continues, I’ve stepped aside to focus on my own direction.

I’ve partnered with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to surface and transform their most important ideas into real, moving brands and products. Whether launching something new or rethinking something established, I bring clarity, direction, and momentum.

This is where I do my best work. I’m a listener first. I ask honest questions, tune in to what’s said and what’s not, and cut through the noise. I sort through complexity, pull out the signal, and shape it into something clear and practical. Strategy is how I think and how I work. It’s where decisions get made and direction takes form. Design follows. Because good design isn’t decoration. It’s solution and intent made visible.

I’m drawn to brands that feel human, not just polished. Brands with a voice, a perspective, and the consistency to show up with intention at every touchpoint. I like the edge. The tension. The honest voice that makes you lean in. The brands that move us don’t play it safe. They play it true. That’s why my work often stretches into digital products, where clarity, usability, and purpose converge. Not because I’m restless (okay, that too), but because a brand lives in the experience. And every part of that experience should speak with the same conviction.
